Shipping & Tracking

Niche Performance Industries takes shipping of their products very seriously. LIke most companies whom grow from the ground up, there was a great deal of trial and error especially on the subject of freight shipping of large products that are fragile.

One of the hardest products to get to a customer is a composite body product. Unlike larger items like, crankshafts, diablo sport tuners and other items that are small and have mass, body products are (especially hoods) are lightweight and extremely fragile. Companies like UPS and FedEx cannot ship products like these, so Niche Performance Industries relies on AAA Cooper freight shipping for all body and hood component products.

The hard reality also to this is no matter how well we package a product, sometimes problems arise where a shipped product has been crushed due to misplacement in a truck or mishandled during carrier to carrier off loading and unloading. Sometimes we even get Hi-Lo forks through these products. Any issue NPI has had in the past relating to products has been in relation to shipping. Most of the time customers are not aware of their responsibilities and requirements for accepting a product through freight shipment. Below are several steps every customer must abide by to forgo any issues with accepting their product:

First: Inspect the box. Niche Performance Industries currently wrap all body and hood products in a single layer of corrugated box, followed by wood support and cellophane wrap. Afterwards, each product is placed in a large double corrugated box and wrapped for shipping. As a customer you should look around the box and take notice of any wrinkles in the packaging, cracks, dents or holes.

Second: Carefully open the box and unwrap the product. It is the responsibility of each customer to take the time to open the product and fully inspect the product for ANY damages. If the product has been drastically damaged, REFUSE the shipment and note with the Bill of Lading that the product was so damaged you could not accept it. If the product has a crack in it or any other damage which looks fixable also fully note this on the Bill of Lading.

AAA Cooper freight drivers have been famous so far from statements taken from customers to be impatient and refusing to wait for customers to inspect products. A freight driver can not leave until you sign the Bill of Lading. Ignore these irritable traits from individuals and take the time to inspect the product. By taking these steps as a customer, Niche Performance Industries and it's customers can avoid a great deal of headache if a claim needs to be filed.

If damage is not documented on the Bill of Lading and later found, it is NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF NICHE PERFORMANCE INDUSTRIES to replace the product. New products can not be released to a customer until Roadway accepts all damaged claims recognized through the Bill of Lading. Customers can also review these two Microsoft word documents which are also supplied to every customer through email and supplied with mailed receipts.
